Nope, not this time…

A perfect day to fish in Pecos, New Mexico – Monastery Lake: Benedictine Monastery.

If I were a fisher chic, It would’ve been perfect conditions to fish in this lake today. I sat with the stillness and in the background, I noticed the fish jumping out of the water. I soaked in the fresh, clear, and crisp air. I watched the reflection of clouds bounce out of the water too, as if fish and clouds were in some kind of competition.

Upon a closer look though, I noticed the school of tiny fish come closer to me. As if they were showing me something. But what? Eventually, they’ll grow bigger, and may end up at the end of the fish hooks of the many fishing rods searching and tricking them to bite.

Temptations maybe?

Foreboding signs?

It’s not like these fish can escape a life of escaping… The bright side? They’re all in it together.

Something we can all learn as humans? Living in a giant lake for a fish bowl can’t be that bad? I loved the day and the hope it brings. After all, living is a part of being in the dying process. Only to be born again and again.

Many blessings folks! Oh, and happy fishing! Sandi

But are you really listening?

Regardless of paths taken to find peace and calm, is it possible to recreate those conditions everyday?

YES. Only you have the key to those places within you that allow for a steady stream of spiritual, mental, physical, and soul abundance that’s always there – quietly waiting to be tapped into at any time. Many blessings folks! Sandi

Episode 1: Sexy Poets Summer Series:

Original poems by Sandi – O’vehlu

Turn your eyes on me

the depths are as deep

as a root of

a tree

Reach out your arms toward

a love earth-bound

the trunk is silent

doesn’t make a sound

Bark, calloused, and weathered

skin shivers at the

slightest touch

Is this too much…

The act of becoming is a subtle & quiet phase. Get out of the box, do it anyway. Do it anyway

Are you ill, or just waking up (spiritual pains)?

Picking up here, where I left off on Anchor!

Awake? Ill? Nuts? What?

I’m hoping to hash up some convos on the physical symptoms of spiritual awakening. I thank those of you visiting from my Anchor podcast, and joining in on the conversation.

My top symptoms (as I’ve experienced them):

  • Unusual out-of-the blue headaches
  • Chills (like you’re about to get a cold) but you’re fine
  • Inexplicable body aches and pains (some internal, some external)
  • Spacing out at REALLY inconvenient times
  • Taking deep breaths naturally (without being told or encouraged to because your blood pressure is about to hit the roof)
  • Stomach upsets (of all kinds)
  • Bright lights, specks of light – peripheral – not like eye floaters
  • Feet getting really hot or cold, regardless of the season
  • Scalp burning sensation, itching, or simply feeling like someone put a juiced-up battery in your head… no, not dandruff related
  • You feel very sensitive to your surroundings, bright lights, and sudden noises

***These are not to be ticked off as being ok medically. I’m not a doctor, or scientist. Please see your/a physician if any of these are worsening and simply can’t be treated as spiritually-related.***

I know it all seems like a lot to swallow. I’ve been feeling most of these symptoms for about the last year. I do feel as if a massive energetic storm has hit… I forget I’m a human experiencing the ups and downs of catching up with a soul as old as time itself. The above list is just a few of the many physical sensations we all feel when our soul is guiding us.

Share your thoughts folks, I’d love to hear them!

Be well, and I’m wishing you many blessings! Sandi

Crying

Image by vishnu vijayan from Pixabay

We all know how devastating 2020 was all around the world – a global crisis – for me, it centered around internal battle, spiritual wars, and the will to get up and keep fighting. The poem below is also recorded on Spotify. I’ve included a few lines here:

I flip off my shoes

and lay back on my couch

my sweet dogs are at my feet

their warmth surrounding me

I try to close my eyes

as my body loosens…

Many blessings folks – BTW, crying is a form of medicine for me. What is it for you? Sandi

IS the customer ALWAYS right?

I don't think you heard me... Can you transfer me to someone who can?

Customer… can I please speak to your manager? CSR, ‘I’m sorry, but I’m just following company rules…
