No, No, No
I struggled all day to write this post. Partly because if I try too hard to write, whatever it may be, it has the opposite effect on me. Though I am making this post short, I’m encouraging all of you not to give up on whatever struggle or challenge you may be having right now.
No. No to giving up or walking away. No, to no more hope or belief. No, to those who might discourage you and make you believe you can’t. No, to your own inner voice that can turn against you. NO, to anything that doesn’t feel right, and that you know in your heart, you are done with.
The challenge? Push yourself. Have faith in yourself. No matter what.
Many blessings, Sandi
Mental health, and the care involved in maintaining something good and hopeful, takes courageous acts.
No matter the mental battle, there’s the good fight, or the one that leads to inner breakage and harm.
How do we keep fighting the good fight? There is no special type of warfare. No magical battleground. No words to get us on that right battlefield. But I will say, hang on to your spiritual gang; they will NEVER lead you astray.
I refuse to give in though. Inner battles can be expressed through a lot of creative avenues. Does this mean we won? Yes, it can. For that day, or moment. The support we can offer each other is half the battle.
Fight on brave ones, through any means necessary, because that’s what spiritual warriors do – the rest is slime.
Many blessings 🙏🏼 folks, Sandi
I think this pic says it all… keep pushing forward. It’s also one of the most adorable pics I think I’ve ever seen. So, it fits perfectly for my Anchor episode: How much crappier can things get, but in the end, you simply can’t regret that you kept going, despite the urge to just give up. Many blessings folks, and keep on keeping on! Sandi
Day 2 of 36 – my attempt at a book reading via Anchor podcast. Listen here!
Writing an autobiographical novella, isn’t easy – but a lot easier than writing a book. It was difficult, yet cathartic. This is section 2 of 36, day two of 36 days of reading each section on Anchor.
For those of you who are thinking about writing a book, regardless of the genre, know this: it won’t write itself. Keep on keeping on!
Many blessings, and thanks in advance for stopping by!
Alright y’all… God’s Spritz? I mean really?
As hard as it is to believe, every bottle is lovingly, and carefully measured with all natural ingredients: Holy Water from the River Jordan, sea salt, purified water, and lavender essential oil. Sometimes, the measurements vary slightly. I don’t think or worry about it. Each bottle is made for that special someone.
I am divinely guided to make and share this unique blend: equivalent to lighting up sage sticks, or the like, these 2.7oz bottles serve the same purpose: to cleanse, purify, protect, and add an amazing scent to go along with it!
As I set to work to make these, I felt an immediate sense of calm and peace. Made to fit easily in any space, this is convenient, instant refreshing calm, and well, however it’s meant to assist you.
Is it egotistical to say it’s ‘God’s spray’?
Many blessings, Sandi
Ok folks, my mom nearly twisted my arm to write this thing called, blog post.
She said people might listen to reason coming from me, because I’m adorable. So, here goes:
I understand Jesus Christ fasted, I guess, didn’t eat much – which I find hard to imagine, for 40 days and forty nights . The way Jesus talks about it to me, is, sometimes, you need to empty in order to fill up again with better things. Like, when my food bowl is empty. I’m flying by the seat of my pants here…
I guess, you can also hear better with all the silence… Heaven to my sensitive ears. I imagine walking alongside with Jesus keeping Him company… I would have scared that awful snake that tried to tempt Him. I look small, but my bark is big.
When I observe humans around me, I think it’s possible to mentally, spiritually, and emotionally fast. But humans don’t understand this simple concept: listen more, talk less; love unconditionally because this is true love; help others, because trust me, you’d want them to help you; listen to silence, it’s your best council. Simple.
I think I like writing blog posts… I’m asking my mom to let me write another post soon. So humans, are you listening?
Many blessings 🙏🏼, Azra
There’s no doubt about it; COVID-19 has upended our lives – globally. But also, in so many other ways: personally, emotionally, financially, mentally, and everywhere in between. The way we communicate with others, is one of the biggest and most challenging times for me.
They say, ‘choose your battles wisely’. In the last few days, I’ve had to do just that. The issue lies with what the consumer needs, vs. what they can actually get. I would like to express great gratitude to front-line workers’, who put their lives on the line daily. They do so with open hearts, and open minds; morphing into super flexible beings.
But what of those who don’t? Morph into super-caring flexible, want-to-help beings? Unfortunately, my battle has been ongoing for a few days this week with such individuals. In the end, it’s not about winning. It’s about proving a point: if a person has grown bored, tired, nonchalant, or otherwise apathetic, it affects how a person performs their roles in the workplace.
The lesson I’ve learned today most especially, is that a problem is solvable. Period. Working together to make things happen has never been so important these days. So, I’ll keep on keeping on.
Stay well, safe, and healthy folks!
