Leaving the nest?

Growing up… leaving the nest. Vid: by Sandi, Northern New Mexico.

I nearly had a panic attack. Outside, the sound of birds is a welcome and wonderful song. A world of music that never stops. But when I heard hungry little fledglings that are chirping in desperate need, I went looking for a ladder. Because if something happened to mom, well, Sandi to the rescue!

As I was about to get a ladder, and began my ascent up to bird palace, I noticed the mom fly back to the nest, where she tried to push an anxious baby back into safety, as it seemed to be hanging over the nest nearly losing its footing. She pushed the baby back further into the nest and she flew away when she saw me, so I came back inside.

Don’t worry, I’ll keep an eye out!

Keep growing folks, love one another, and give each other a helping hand. Many blessings, Sandi

The making of Sandi’s Sacred Spritz

Making a mess, making my Sandi’s Sacred Spritz and loving every minute of it!

Hi ya’ll! I thought I’d post a vid of the making of Sandi’s Sacred Spritz. I had tons of fun, but it’s tricky… finding the right angles, light, camera, camera position, background, sound or no sound, and I’m sure I’m missing something. The one thing I know, is that my process didn’t change one bit, during filming. It is what it is – the vid, here it is.

So what is it? About a year ago, I saw an image of three things: holy water, purified water, and salt. It’s only recently that I had the guidance to add Lavender Essential Oil. I started with a 2.7oz bottle. Then, it evolved to a spay bottle. I began giving these to essential workers. Then, I realized why not other people that needed it?

Divine guidance, inspiration, or whatever you’d like to express it as, has its own origins. For many years, I thought I had to be a writer. I ended up writing three books. My favorite is Light and dark; a Pause in Writingan autobiographical novella.

But, as layers of challenges and unresolved issues presented themselves, I was drawn to healing. And writing more books just wasn’t in the cards. So, I stopped. Writing. This is a self-published endeavor. One with sweat, love, doubt, and constant mind-changing from one extreme to another. Any writer will tell you, books don’t write themselves. Great writers are full of great advice. I created the cover image, I was the writer, the proofreader, the editor, and the publisher. I will always appreciate and remember the writing of these books, as the greatest feat of my life.

So, I’ve been blogging. I write when I am inspired. Because the advice to write everyday, simply does not apply to me. It may, and does to other writers. I’m okay with that.

Enjoy every moment

Sometimes, successful writers drive that point: write, write, write, keep writing. As someone who kept writing, I can say that the process is magical. It takes you to a place you would never wander all on your own. The words, the energy, the imagination will take you there. Because you see, a good writer will do that with their story. I remember having a conversation about two years ago with my sister. I maintained adamantly, that my life would end if I didn’t keep writing. I was dead wrong. Here I am, still alive. A goof ball of sorts.

In the end, well, beginning, middle, and everywhere in between, I’m me. A sometimes writer, Sandi’s Sacred Spritzer, and whatever else you’d like to call me.

So folks, thanks so much for putting up with all this to get to my Video!

Why regret it?

What’s the difference between regrets and mistakes?

Click here to listen to my podcast!

Why make a decision or a choice, if ultimately, it may lead to regrets?

What’s the difference between a mistake and a regret? In my opinion… a mistake is when we do the best we can with what we had at that moment. A regret, is doing it anyway – there’s an inner voice – intuition, that will signal red flags. I’m learning a lot recently, from a family member who regrets a land deal that has played out in the last month, in some difficult and challenging ways.

Come on over and listen to my podcast and get more details… what are your thoughts on the difference is between regrets and mistakes?

Many blessings folks! Sandi.

Sandi’s Lemony Sacred Spritz prep

Hi Folks!

I’ve made a batch of lemongrass Sandi’s Sacred Spritz. I feel a sense of calm. I see the sunrise shine through each bottle. These come in 2oz. spray bottles: $7.00. The blue bottles hiding in the background, are 4oz. spray bottles:$14.00; I always look forward to my batch roll-outs. I also got together a lavender spritz in 2oz. bottles and think I may just stick with the 2oz bottles. For both the lavender, and the lemongrass, and adding the 4oz spritzer in both lavender, and lemongrass.

The air fills with lemony scents, and lavender sprinkled here and there. Every bottle is made with love, and special attention to each ingredient; you see, not all bottles have the exact same mix, with exact measurements. Why? I have no clue. Just that I’m guided by spirit to mix, and save questions for later – doesn’t mean I’ll get answers…

Lemongrass spritzer contains: Holy water (River Jordan, and blessed holy water from St. Thomas church when possible), purified water, and lemongrass essential oil.

Lavender mix: Holy water (River Jordan), purified water, sea salt, and lavender essential oil. Lavender essential oil provides a sense of silence; calm, peace, and a relaxed state of being which is hard for me to attain. Follow the links in this post for more info. Folks, be safe, stay well, thanks for stopping by! – Many blessings, Sandi

Divine Inspiration

Lemony Sandi’s Sacred Spritz

Yup, you guessed it… Lemongrass essential oil, blessed holy water from St. Thomas church in Abiquiu, NM; blessed by father Valentine Phu Ngoc Au, and purified H20. Oh, you didn’t guess this? No worries – that’s it. Those are the ingredients for this spritz bottle inspired yesterday and made today. When spirit calls, there is no, ‘sorry I missed your call, please leave a message at the beep.’ Or, press the ignore button and hope they don’t call again… or maybe later. When you feel like chatting, dealing, or whatever we do when we press the ignore button – which by the way I never do, because in my opinion, it’s rude.

My divine inspiration has no time limit. I feel the love and words flow. I heard lemongrass essential oil yesterday and bought some today. In this spritz in particular, there are only three ingredients. I don’t use lemongrass for anything, and in fact, I didn’t know too much about it. These are the amazing benefits of lemongrass essential oil – it nearly knocked me off my feet:

  • Anxiety
  • Skin problems
  • Muscle aches; headaches
  • Indigestion
  • scalp problems

…to name a few. Aromatherapy is quite simply amazing. Want to know more about this cool oil? Click here.

So, basically, though I personally have never used lemongrass, I was drawn to work with it and use it in my spritz. I always put together a test bottle, and I have to say, I think this is heaven. I immediately calmed down and had a joyful reaction.

I’d like to thank my angels, but most especially God, for inspiring me to put this together. I love it, and would love to share it. I’m starting off with a select few bottles and will adjust accordingly in the production of it. This is an amber-colored bottle, 2oz plastic spray bottle. As with anything adult, please use discretion around children, and in the use of direct skin contact, as it may cause an allergic reaction.

Sandi’s Sacred Spritz should be affordable; I’m accepting donations for this one. Pay what you can!

Many blessings folks, and be safe out there! Sandi

Why me

Sandi’s Sacred Spritz

One day

I floated just enough

to graze the clouds

a fleeting moment of bliss

only to realize

I had to make this sacred

spritz

why me?

I asked God

Why not, He replied

and so the mixing began

the prep delicate and slow

the labeling a loving labor

of sorts,

a promise of each bottle

belonging to one person…

Is it you?
